Hot showers, steam, saunas, or hot tubs
Direct sun exposure or tanning beds
Makeup on waxed areas (especially foundation or powders)
Sweating or intense workouts
Touching, picking, or rubbing the skin
Exfoliants, retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or active skincare products
Fragranced or alcohol-based products
Daily Care
Keep the skin calm and balanced:
Cleanse gently with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser
Apply a soothing, non-comedogenic moisturizer
Keep hands off the face to prevent irritation or bacteria transfer
Use sunscreen daily to protect sensitive post-wax skin
Preventing Irritation & Breakouts
After 48 hours:
Lightly exfoliate 2–3 times per week to prevent ingrowns
Continue hydrating the skin daily
Avoid heavy, pore-clogging makeup for a couple of days if possible
Use calming ingredients like aloe vera or chamomile if needed
Important Reminders
Mild redness or sensitivity is completely normal and should subside within a few hours
Small bumps or slight breakouts can occur as the skin adjusts
Avoid over-exfoliating, especially in the first few days
For best results, schedule facial waxing every 3–4 weeks depending on hair growth.
